Love this quick, easy and flavorful dinner. I use thin strips of tenderloin which make for very tender meat and not much fat. Serve the beef with jasmine rice and your favorite roasted vegetable for a wonderful, no fuss supper that is sure to please!
Serves 2-4

Ingredients:
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or honey)
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 pound beef tenderloin, cut into thin strips
- 1 tablespoon neutral oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 large red onion, halved, thinly sliced
- 1 medium white onion, halved, thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, stemmed, seeded and sliced into thin strips
- 1 green bell pepper, stemmed, seeded and sliced into thin strips
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Kosher salt
- Fresh lime for serving
- Fresh cilantro, garnish
- Fresh sliced scallions, garnish
Directions:
In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, chili garlic sauce, maple syrup and black pepper. Pour half the marinade on sliced beef and toss to coat. Meanwhile, prepare the peppers, onions and garlic. Heat the oil in a large skillet over high heat, add marinated beef in a single layer, tossing once if necessary (this should only take about a minute or so to cook). Set beef aside.
In the same skillet, add butter reducing heat to medium high and add onions and peppers stirring frequently until tender and beginning to brown (about 5 minutes), add garlic, sauté for another few minutes and and return the beef and any accumulated juices to the pan along with remaining marinade and stir to incorporate.
Remove from heat, squeeze in fresh lime, garnish with cilantro and sliced scallions. Serve immediately over rice and favorite roasted vegetable. Enjoy!
